Dear Friends,

Season’s Greetings!

As we look ahead to a new year, the Deirmimas Benevolent Association (DMBA) is filled with gratitude for the friends and supporters who care so deeply for Deirmimas. Thanks to your generosity and commitment, our village remains appreciative, connected, and hopeful for the future.

While challenges in 2024 and 2025 were formidable, 2026 and beyond will be years of rebuilding, collaboration, and progress. Together, we’re taking meaningful steps toward a brighter, more sustainable Deirmimas:

·       Healthcare: We will continue to support the village Clinic, keeping it well-supplied with medications, and assisting families with partial coverage for hospital care.

·       Essential services: Despite high costs, we’ll help maintain water and electricity delivery to homes, both through short-term aid and long-term studies for sustainable solutions.

·       Caring for expectant mothers: We launched an initiative to improve prenatal and postnatal care by providing support for pregnant women who reside in the village.

·       Reviving community spirit: The Deirmimas Café and gym have been warmly received, hosting youth tournaments, gatherings, and events that bring joy back to village life. The café is also hosting a new lecture series by professionals on healthcare.

·       Building a sustainable future:  We are exploring the possibility of a subsidized solar panel farm – a step toward cleaner, more affordable energy for Deirmimas.

Though the village continues to recover from years of war, economic strain, and olive harvest losses, the people of Deirmimas remain determined and hopeful. Their resilience inspires us and reminds us why our work matters.

Our mission is simple: to help families in Deirmimas live with dignity, stability, and hope. With your continued support, we can build a stronger foundation for the future, one powered by compassion, community, and opportunity.

Please consider contributing today. Your donation directly improves life in our village.

With heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes for a joyful Christmas season and a hopeful new year.

Sincerely
